Queenslea Avenue Transitional Home

Custom Home, Toronto
Transformation of an existing 1960's era house into a contemporary, fully-featured modern 2-storey home in the Weston neighbourhood of Toronto for a young and growing family of five. The existing house was almost completely removed in order to make way for the new home, which more than doubled the original footprint. The new design takes full advantage of the gorgeous site, retaining a large maple tree and making it a feature of the main living spaces.

While the exterior is styled in keeping with the context in historic Weston village, the interior is open, sharply detailed and modern. This is a house made in the details : crisp trim and window surrounds; exquisitely tiled fireplaces; lustrous dark wood in the kitchen; custom grey maple wardrobes in the master suite; the list goes on!
